Promoted as Central Texas’ Largest Fireworks Show, Austin is hosting its free July 4 celebration downtown, which includes a live performance by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Grab your lawn chairs and some cool drinks, as once again this event will be taking place at Auditorium Shores at Town Lake Metropolitan Park in downtown Austin, attendees can expect food and drink vendors as well as local arts and crafts vendors. 4-10:30 p.m. Free. 900 W. Pack up family and meet up with some friends at Cedar Park’s Fourth of July Celebration. This event will be held at Elizabeth Milburn Park from 5-11:30 p.m. and includes fireworks, music and food trucks. The fireworks display begins at 9:15 p.m., and a movie in the park, “The Sandlot,” will play following the fireworks. Free. Hosted by the local Sertoma Club’s, the Georgetown annual fourth of July celebrations will be scaled down to only include fireworks in San Gabriel Park. Leander’s annual Liberty Fest is back! This year’s July 4th free celebration will include fireworks, vendors, balloon artists, face painters, henna and stilt walkers. The city’s Great Lawn on Lakewood Park will host the event. The park will open at 2 p.m., and the first band will play at 5 p.m. Buses will pick up attendees at nearby parking lots and drop them off at the park. 2-10:30 p.m. Free. The City of Hutto welcomes the third annual 4th of July Celebration on Sunday, July 4 from 4:30-9:30 PM at Brushy Creek Amphitheater!
